Introduction

The Sipoholon Hot Spring, located in the Sipoholon District of North Tapanuli Regency, is a unique ecosystem that supports a diverse range of macrozoobenthos species. Chironomus was found to be the dominant species, with a density value of 190 individuals/m², relative density of 100%, and attendance of 80%.
