This study aims to analyze the factors that determine the compliance of Personal Taxpayers at the Pratama Tax Service Office (KPP) Medan Belawan, Indonesia.

The research population consists of all active personal taxpayers registered at the Pratama KPP Medan Belawan, with a total of 409 respondents. The results showed that tax literacy directly affected taxpayer compliance. However, service quality does not have a direct effect on taxpayer compliance. In addition, all variables, through tax awareness, have an indirect effect on taxpayer compliance.

Conclusion and Recommendations

In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of tax literacy, service quality, and tax awareness in determining taxpayer compliance. Efforts to increase taxpayer compliance must focus on increasing tax literacy, developing effective tax awareness programs, and improving taxpayer experience. Collaboration between the government and the community is essential to achieve better tax compliance targets in the future. By understanding the factors that affect taxpayer compliance, the government can develop effective strategies to increase taxpayer compliance and improve state revenue.
