The high dropout rate in Padang Lawas Utara Regency, reaching 24% at the level of primary and secondary education, is a serious problem that needs to be overcome. To understand the root of the problem and formulate an effective prevention strategy, this study uses confirmatory factor analysis to identify the factors that influence children dropping out of school.
