Introduction

Nutrition plays a vital role in the development and growth of children, and its impact on their learning achievement cannot be overstated. In Indonesia, nutritional problems are still a significant challenge, and many children suffer from malnutrition, which can lead to poor learning outcomes. This study aims to investigate the relationship between nutritional status and learning achievement among students of SDN 030434 Parjaratan, Kuta Dame Village, Kingdom District, Pakpak Bharat Regency.

Nutritional problems in Indonesia are a major concern, and data shows that many people, especially children, experience problems related to their nutritional status. The results of this study showed that of 87 students, 62 students (71.3%) had good nutritional status, while 25 students (28.7%) had a malnutrition status. In terms of learning achievement, 49 students (56.3%) achieved good results, while 38 students (43.7%) had poor achievements. Bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between nutritional status and learning achievement, with a P-value of 0.0299, which is smaller than α = 0.05.

The results of this study suggest that there is a significant relationship between nutritional status and learning achievement among students of SDN 030434 Parjaratan.
