Introduction

Dental caries is a widespread oral health problem that often requires restoration to restore the function and aesthetic of the affected tooth. One of the restoration materials that is widely used today is composite resin, which is chosen because of its ability to offer high aesthetic quality and good adhesion to dental structure. Furthermore, the sample was soaked in a 2% methylene blue solution for 24 hours to facilitate the measurement of micro leak penetration. Measurement is done by cutting samples mesio-decent and analyzing dyes penetration under the stereomicroscope with an enlargement of 20x. Results

The results of statistical analysis conducted using Kruskal-Wallis Test showed that there was no significant difference (P> 0.05) in a micro leak between the use of Lining RMGIC and Biodentine. In addition, the use of the matrix system both Tofflemire and V3 Ring also does not show a significant difference (P> 0.05) in the context of micro leakage. This finding confirms that although there are different lining and matrix options, both have an important role in the restoration of class II composite resin.
