Introduction

To determine the dental inclination of the maxillary central incisors in the labio-lingual direction, an angle is used between the maxillary central incisors and the sella-nasion line (SN plane).

The thickness of the alveolar and lingual bone is measured by pulling a perpendicular line to the tooth axis, which is done linearly every 1/10 level along the roots, from the cemento-enamel junction to the apical root of the central incisors. The Kruskal-Wallis test is then used to analyze the relationship between inclination and alveolar bone thickness.

Results and Discussion

The results showed a significant difference in the thickness of the alveolar labial and lingual bone based on dental inclination (p <0.005). This shows that dental inclination can affect the thickness of the supporting tissue around it.
